The Gospel
Some of life’s most important questions are: Who is God? and Who am I? The Bible—God’s Word—answers both. It tells us that God is perfect, holy, and the Creator of everything, including us. He made us to know Him and live in relationship with Him.
But that relationship has been broken because of our sin—our thoughts, words, and actions that go against God. Because of sin, we are separated from Him and deserve His judgment.
Yet God, in His love, came to us in the person of Jesus. Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn’t, died to take the punishment for our sin, and rose again, conquering death and offering us new life.
The answer to life’s deepest needs isn’t success, politics, or trying harder. It’s turning from sin and trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Through Him, we are forgiven, restored, and given eternal life.
The Baptist Student Union at UCM partners with the West Central Baptist Association and the Missouri Baptist Convention to support and strengthen our mission of reaching students with the Gospel and equipping them to follow Jesus on campus and beyond.
