Dear Parents,
It is our privilege to welcome your student to Central BSU. We are a student-led, staff-directed college ministry that seeks to point UCM students, faculty, and staff to know, love, and glorify God with their lives.
This season may feel both exciting and anxious. College brings classes, homework, and exams. But it also brings so much more. Your student will make decisions during their time in college that affect their career, relationships, and values. In many ways, the choices they make now will influence the decades to come.
Like you, we want students to learn not only how to make a living, but how to truly live.
College is often when students examine and choose their personal beliefs. Often this means discovering what it looks like to make their faith in Jesus their own. At Central BSU, we help them follow Jesus through meaningful relationships and intentional discipleship.
We help students:
- Abide in God daily
- Follow His Word fully
- Share the Gospel faithfully
- Equip others to do the same
Central BSU partners with many local churches to disciple students. Belonging to a local church is essential for a student’s growth in God, especially during college.
They’re your kids, not ours. But we love them like they’re our own. We want them to grow in the man or woman God has called them to be.
Thank you for the privilege of serving them and pointing them to Jesus. We’re honored to walk beside them – and you – in this critical season.
